When the National Library of Australia asked if they could add another one of my books to their collection, not only did I say yes, but I jumped at the chance to hand deliver the little Dr Who diary with sonic screwdriver! As it happened there was also an exhibition of miniature books finishing in the next few weeks so I had even more reason to go. I grabbed my bestie and we headed off on a road trip. After missing the turn off to Canberra (because we were too busy talking) we arrived in Gundagai. Funny, we didn't think Gundagai...

I'm so thrilled, proud and and super excited to tell everyone that my mini books will be included in the National Library of Australia's collection as they are "unique examples of Australian publishing"!

After 25 years of making little books I have finally found the perfect combination for ageing the edges of my little books. These two pencils can be worked up to whatever level of ageing I want. Having tried pretty much everything, from tea to paint, pastels, inks, these two give the most amazing realistic result. 

... I will be setting up for the ACTME Dollhouse and Miniature Show (Canberra) with my helper. Looking forward to a fun weekend of one-on-one time time with my gorgeous little guy!
